BuildPC is not a random parts list. Every recommendation is assembled as a complete system, scored against the user’s priorities and rejected if a core compatibility check fails.
01 · UNDERSTAND THE GOAL
Budget and workload come first
Gaming, streaming, office work and content creation need different allocations. Gaming emphasizes the CPU/GPU balance; office builds avoid paying for unnecessary discrete graphics; creator builds put more weight on CPU cores, memory and acceleration.
02 · SCORE COMPLETE BUILDS
No isolated “best part” recommendations
The engine evaluates complete combinations rather than selecting each part independently. Performance, supporting-component quality, useful capacity, current-generation status and budget fit contribute to the score.
03 · REJECT INCOMPATIBLE LISTS
Compatibility is a hard requirement
CPU socket, motherboard memory type, power-supply capacity, case clearance and the presence of every required category are checked before a build is eligible to appear.
04 · BE HONEST ABOUT DATA
Reference prices are not live prices
The current catalog contains 136 structured products. Its snapshot date is 2026-08-02. Until the official Amazon Creators API is connected, every displayed component value is clearly identified as a reference price and users are asked to verify checkout price and availability.
